Functional objectives
Provide the highest level of sales and technical support and opportunity generation by using strong customer satisfaction focus and relationship building skills. Also support the Sales and Marketing teams through lead generation and qualification in order to ensure continued sales growth, market penetration, customer retention, winning new customers, sales of new products and overall increase in HARTING Value Added.
Supports all local and regional activities in relation to Inside Sales
Task & responsibilities
Is fully responsible for account management of assigned customers – working with local and regional management and cross functionally with other relevant departments
Increases sales by proactively reaching out using Lead Management processes for all new and existing customers interfacing with global, regional or local departments
Increases the share of new products with assigned customers and billings with new customers
Is responsible for all activities from the Inquiry Phase up to the handling of the initial sales processes within CRM
Is responsible for the administration of CRM data for assigned customers, creating necessary activity records or tasks for supporting colleagues
Actively promotes digital services and sales tools and processes internally and externally and assists customers with general enquiries

Education and background:
n Previous Technical Product/Customer Support or Direct Sales experience gained in manufacturing or distribution environment would be highly desirable
n Engineering/Technical Educational qualification is an advantage
n Understanding of electrical or electronic connectors/applications
n Excellent communication and social skills written and verbal
n Good English knowledge
n PC skills (MS Office, Internet) also Business Reporting tools
n Prior knowledge of ERP. SAP would be desirable
n Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
