Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in driving business growth within the defined territory by engaging with existing and new customers across the range of products and solutions.
  • Input and update forecast information regularly for your assigned area.
  • Support the management and nurturing of the sales funnel in alignment with the Ideal Sales Process.
  • Help develop system solutions with customers, incorporating all products, services, and third-party solutions.
  • Participate in project management and coordinate with key customers on a local level.
  • Present the company and address technical and business management topics as needed.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities within the markets and among customers.
  • Apply the company’s sales methodology and Ideal Sales Process, including Solution Selling and Opportunity-Centric approaches.
  • Work with the Managing Director/Sales Director to assist in setting forecasts for the area by customer.
  • Track and update progress through the process.
  • Ensure the CRM system for your area is maintained consistently.
  • Help develop and grow business relationships with local distributors and agents, if applicable.
  • Coordinate technical support for distributors and agents in collaboration with Product Managers and Product Specialists.
  • Support the implementation and management of contract and purchase agreements for the area.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with customers, using technical and commercial arguments.
  • Share product, application, and market knowledge to aid the company’s development.
  • Ensure that customer complaints are directed to the appropriate internal department and follow up on outcomes

 

Qualifications:

  • ' Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional/specialized training 

Note: Extensive relevant experience and demonstrated expertise may be considered in lieu of a formal degree 

  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in the relevant industry
  • Fluent in Japanese and Good in English, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook) for documentation, presentations, and collaboration 
  • Proficiency in CRM systems with a disciplined approach to data entry, pipeline tracking, and regular updates
  • Experience working with distributors, agents, or channel partners
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across sales, product, and support teams
  • Demonstrated customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and provide optimal solution-based proposals.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with strong time management skills
