Leadership: 
 
1.Strategic Financial Leadership
Act as a strategic business partner, aligning financial goals with the company’s overall strategy.
Provide financial insights to support decision-making on investments, cost optimization, and revenue growth opportunities.
 
2.Team Leadership and Development (if applicable)
Lead and mentor regional finance teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Ensure continuous skill development to align the team with evolving business and financial requirements.
 

Manage financial reporting, forecasting, margin- and cost control of sales and production Companies.

1.Financial Planning and Strategy:
Support regional strategic planning by providing financial, operational, and market-related insights and analysis.
Collaborate with regional management to develop and implement strategies that align with overall corporate objectives.
Integrate financial strategies for both sales and production companies, ensuring a cohesive approach to revenue and operational efficiency.
 
2.Forecasting, Sales, Cost, and Margin Control:
Develop, manage, and monitor the regional forecast including sales and production-related metrics.
Conduct financial forecasting to predict future trends and identify potential risks or opportunities.
Ensure that sales and production forecasts are aligned, challenging, and achievable.
 
3.Month-End / Year-End closing – Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
Analyze financial statements and reports for the region (market development, production efficiency, results, cash-flow), ensuring accuracy and compliance with HARTING-Standards.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Present reports on sales performance and production efficiency to senior management.
 
4.Cost Management:
Monitor and control costs within the region to ensure financial efficiency.
Initiate cost-saving initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and drive efficiency improvement
Oversee production cost analyses, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to maintain profitability.
 
5.Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, financial regulations, and legal requirements.
Identify financial risks and implement controls to mitigate them.
 

Experience:

  • Strong business partnering experience, serving as a strategic partner to the regional business leader in supporting organization growth initiatives and objectives.
  • Experience setting up regional shared service centres, either virtually or on-the-ground.
  • Experience dealing with commercial and operational teams in Asia-Pacific, including China.
  • Strong experience in financial management position, ideally in industrial / manufacturing company; broad experience across financial accounting, controlling, audit, treasury, etc preferred.
  • Experience leading and managing a large team located across the region.
  • Preferably a master’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Business Analytics and SAP.
  • Strong leadership skills and high-level strategic thinking capability.

  • Demonstrated high level communication and influencing skills necessary to deal effectively with clients, financial and investor institutions
  • Demonstrated experience in devising and implement innovative work practices aimed at improving productivity
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly excel and word
  • Demonstrated practical experience within a financial environment
