Trade Compliance Officer

 

Key Responsibilities:

      1.    Export Control Compliance:

      •     Monitor and ensure adherence to regional and international export control regulations (e.g. US ECCN, China ECN).

      •     Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain compliance.

      •     Conduct risk assessments, audits, and mitigation strategies related to export control activities.

      •     Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.

      2.    Master Data Quality Management:

      •     Oversee the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of master data related to trade compliance.

      •     Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency across systems like SAP GTS.

      3.    Training & Support:

      •     Provide training on export control regulations and TC master data to internal teams.

      •     Act as a subject matter expert, advising on trade compliance issues across the APAC supply chain.

      

Qualifications:

      •     Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Trade, Law).

      •     Experience in trade compliance or export control within the APAC region.

      •     Knowledge of APAC export control regulations (e.g., dual-use items, sanctions).

      •     Proficiency in SAP GTS or similar systems.

      •     Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

      •     Experience with global trade systems integration projects.

      •     Multilingual abilities (English required; regional languages a plus).

      •     Willingness to travel
