Job Description
Management of Distribution Partners for the HARTING Group. Contribute to HARTING’s long-term growth expectations with strong profitable sales growth with the identified High Service Level partners. Input and regularly maintain forecast information for the area of responsibility
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the strong development of the relationship with Distributors which will require regular face-to-face meetings and reviews.
- Ensures that HARTING has the strongest possible offer with Distribution partners. Constantly reviewing the content to ensure that it is applicable, correct and up to date to give the best end customer experience.
- Manages the introduction of HARTING NPI through this key channel. Speed-to-market is critical so all supporting information and processes must be completed in time for a successful launch.
- In conjunction with the Marketing Department, creates an annual marketing campaign for the Distribution Partners that ensures the strongest promotion of the HARTING Brand, our existing products and NPI. Campaigns need to address marketing activities in different global regions.
- Produces necessary reports and presentations as required.
- Analyses POS data to monitor the Distributor’s sales activity to ensure that all opportunities are maximized. Reports on the activity and findings/outcomes to Senior Management at both a corporate and subsidiary level.
- Manages the pricing policy with both Buy and Recommended Sell prices.
- Monitors the Inventory held by the Distribution Partners and makes recommendations to ensure that high service levels to HARTING customers are maintained.
- Plans and organizes Quarterly Operational Meetings and the Annual Strategic Meeting.
- In conjunction with the MD/Sales Director establishes a forecast for Distribution Partners that is in line with, or exceeds, the Mid Term compound growth expectation for HARTING.
- Monitors and updates progress through the Sales Planning process.
- Ensures CRM area of responsibility is always maintained.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or professional training (specialised training)
- Several years of professional experience in the relevant field
- Excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Note: Extensive relevant experience and demonstrated expertise may substitute for the required degree
