Job Description
The Pricing & Quoting Process Excellence Manager is responsible for driving the standardization, governance, optimization, and adoption of pricing and quoting processes across the APAC region. The role serves as the regional process owner for Quote-to-Order activities, ensuring commercial processes are efficient, scalable, data-driven, and aligned to global Sales CoE standards. The position partners closely with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to improve turnaround times, strengthen pricing discipline, increase quote conversion rates, protect margin performance, and enhance the customer experience.
In the initial phase, this role will focus on establishing pricing process infrastructure—documenting & improving current practices, defining governance frameworks, and building analytical foundations. The role will evolve over time into a pricing decision-making capacity once the process infrastructure is mature.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own and develop frameworks across the three core pricing tracks: project-level pricing, customer-level pricing reviews and renewals, and annual market pricing—ensuring each has documented workflows, governance, and escalation criteria.
- Establish the pricing strategy for accounts that are regional in nature and work with the respective LS to ensure adherence to this pricing.
- Ensure adherence to global pricing and quoting standards while addressing region-specific business requirements.
- Develop, document, and maintain standardized process maps, SOPs, governance models, and training materials.
- Conduct scenario-based stakeholder interviews across regions to capture undocumented pricing decision-making criteria and convert institutional knowledge into structured process documentation.
- Drive simplification and harmonization of legacy country-specific practices to support a scalable regional operating model.
- Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, rework drivers, and customer pain points across the quote lifecycle.
- Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing continuous improvement methodologies.
- Support implementation and optimization of Dynamics CRM, SAP, workflow automation, and reporting tools.
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to pricing and quoting effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.
- Analyse quote conversion rates, turnaround times, pricing exceptions, approval cycle times, touchless document flow, and margin performance.
- Support Managing Directors in pricing decisions by providing analytical rigor and data-driven recommendations, while maintaining segregation between process governance and pricing approval authority during the role's initial phase.
- Lead the APAC annual pricing cycle in coordination with Product Management and Finance—from cost analysis through implementation—applying a strategic, product-family-based approach to maximize margin realization in price-sensitive markets.
- Ensure compliance with global pricing policies, approval workflows, and governance standards.
- Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Product Management, and Operations regarding pricing and quoting processes.
- Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and best practices across the APAC region through training and change management.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in process excellence, commercial operations, pricing, quoting, sales operations, customer service, or business transformation roles.
- Experience working in complex B2B industrial, manufacturing, technology, or related environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional pricing, quoting, and process improvement initiatives in complex business environments, with a hands-on approach to driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, CPQ, or commercial workflow platforms preferred.
- Strong strategic, commercial, and analytical capabilities, with the ability to develop and execute pricing strategies, leverage data-driven insights, solve complex business challenges, and deliver measurable business impact.
- Business-fluent English with excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills, coupled with the ability to influence across functions, drive transformation initiatives, and deliver customer-focused, results-oriented outcomes across the APAC region.
