Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Intern to support our Field Marketing team in driving data quality, lead management, and demand generation initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to B2B marketing operations, CRM data management, market research, and account-based marketing (ABM) activities. The intern will play a key role in validating and qualifying leads, improving database accuracy, generating customer insights, and identifying new business opportunities to support marketing and sales objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student who is interested in marketing analytics, sales operations, customer data management, and market intelligence within a fast-paced business environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead Qualification & Data Validation
- Review and Process a Minimum of 80 Leads per Day – Validate and qualify the existing lead records in the CRM to ensure accurate and actionable data for sales & marketing follow-up action.
- Improve Campaign Targeting and Prevent Competitor Marketing Outreach – Research and update competitor exclusion lists to ensure competitors are excluded from marketing communications and campaigns.
Database Quality & Insights Generation
- Enhance Database Quality for Marketing and Sales Activities – Clean and standardize customer and prospect data to improve database accuracy, completeness, and usability.
- Generate Insights from Existing Customer and Prospect Data – Analyse CRM data to identify customer profile, industry segmentation, engagement level for potential opportunities.
Demand Generation & Market Research
- Support Demand Generation and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Initiatives – Identify and build target account lists by researching key companies for upcoming marketing campaigns.
- Identify Growth Opportunities Within Target Industries – Uncover large companies and potential accounts that are not currently engaged within the CRM database.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
- Candidates with an interest in B2B marketing, sales operations, market research, or customer data management are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing, validating, and updating data.
- Possesses good research and analytical skills to identify trends, insights, and potential business opportunities.
- Able to work independently and handle repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage.
