SUMMARY:

Responsible to define production scheduling, execute purchasing activities to ensure timely of required materials/goods to ensure timely delivery of finished goods. Administer purchasing process to identify and negotiate best prices for required needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Monitor customer requirements to trigger plant activities. 

-Define production plan for every requirement and communicate to all plant personnel. 

-Order materials according to needs to ensure the fulfilment of customer requirements. 

-Identify and communicate possible risks throughout the complete supply chain 

-Plan orders for product inventory on a weekly or daily basis, including the compilation of stock control records and information to determine stock supply and need for replenishment and preparation of requisition orders or other documents for requisitioning new or additional stock items. 

-Expedite orders on a daily basis, if needed. 

-Manage inventory levels and report slow moving inventory on a monthly basis. 

-Measure and report delivery times on a monthly basis. To measure finished goods service level and supplier service level. 

-Maintain inventory, production orders, purchasing, shipping, goods receipt or other records in computer system by utilizing data compiled from multiple sources (i.e. Production Orders, Purchasing contracts, POs, invoices, requisitions, accounting reports). 

-Monitor production capacity, identify and communicate requirements, risks and propose action. 

-Ensure SAP is consistent with Master Data, supplier & material information, and that schedule kept with latest information. 

-Serve as main contact for SAP issues for Materials Management (MM). 

-Execute full purchasing process for all MX41 needs (direct materials, packaging) 

-Understand local supplier market and search for possible suppliers to collaborate. Goal to reduce total cost of ownership by developing new suppliers. 

-Manage and keep documentation of purchasing contracts with suppliers.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

-Bachelor’s degree from a college or university; or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

-Experience with SAP

-Advanced English
