Functional objectives:
1. Ensure shipments are processed within established deadlines and with correct documentation.
2. Process all requested shipping orders.
Is responsible for:
- Ensure that all shipments are carried out efficiently, correctly, on time, and safely, optimizing available resources and guaranteeing customer satisfaction through effective logistics and precise supply chain management.
- Process all orders required by the customer service department.
- Ensure the preparation/consolidation of all products for dispatch.
- Coordinate all shipments to customers.
- Ensure that all shipments comply with regulations and documentation requirements according to customer requirements.
- Oversee the storage and handling of finished products to prevent damage and loss.
- Inform Customer Success and internal departments about the status of shipments.
- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to the shipping team and ensure they are carried out efficiently.
- Develop and update procedures to improve efficiency and consistency in shipping operations.
- Schedule and maintain constant communication with forwarders and customs brokers when the operation requires it. Confirm order details received from Customer Success, ensuring that the information is accurate and complete.
- Monitor product packaging to ensure they are adequately protected during transport.
- Monitor the loading of products during transport to ensure loading plans and safety procedures are followed.
- Report any quality issues and take necessary corrective action.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records related to each shipment for future reference and audits.
- Follow up on customer complaints (undershipments, wrong parts, etc.) and implement poka-yoke and corrective actions.
- Understand the quality policy and quality objectives.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with the documented quality system.
- Recommend and implement improvements to activities and processes within the quality system.

Education and professional knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or similar field.
- A minimum of one year of prior experience in a shipping coordinator position or similar role in the logistics and transportation field is required.
Functional, technical and individual competences required:
- Knowledge of SAP ERP or similar
- Data analysis and processing
