Payroll Specialist

Functional Objective

Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all personnel, as well as compliance with all applicable legal requirements.

 

Responsible for:

 

1.Legal Compliance

-IDSE registration management (new hires, terminations, and employee changes).
-IMSS: determination and payment of social security contributions through SUA.
-Infonavit: determination and payment of Infonavit and Retirement Savings Fund (RCV) contributions.
-State Payroll Tax (ISN): determination and payment of taxes.

 

2. Payroll Administration

-Employee onboarding and termination registration in the biometric system.
-Payroll pre-processing generation and system entry.
-Payroll calculation and validation.
-CFDI payroll receipt issuance and distribution.


3. System Administration

-Verification of legal payroll parameters: IMSS, Infonavit, income tax (ISR), and employee benefits.
-Registration of employees in HR/payroll systems and bank accounts.
-Ensure system reviews and updates in accordance with new legal requirements and regulations.

 

4. Reporting

-Payroll allocation by cost center.
-Payroll payment file generation (bank transfer layout).
-Savings fund reporting and file generation.
-KPI reporting.
-Attendance and Time Tracking (ATT) reporting.

 

5. Quality Management System

-Understand the impact of work activities on product quality and the importance of actions taken to achieve, maintain, and continuously improve quality, including customer requirements and the risks associated with non-conforming products.

Education and Professional Knowledge:

-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
-More than 3 years of experience in a similar position; experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
-Required Functional, Technical, and Individual Competencies
-Knowledge of labor legislation and regulations, including State Payroll Tax Law, IMSS, ISR, Federal Labor Law (LFT), and the Federal Fiscal Code.
-Advanced English
