Tasks:

• Advise and guide application users on the capabilities and correct use of the Advaris MES/PLM platform; 

• Analyze user requirements and translate them into configuration changes within the application; 

• Plan, implement, and document configuration changes;  

• Act as 1st level support, handling user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and escalating to higher level support if necessary; 

• Conduct user training and onboarding for new Advaris users; 

• Validate and support master data quality for material master data, BOMs, routings / work plans and product-related data; 

• Collect, structure, and prioritize user feedback and improvement requests for submission to the vendor; 

• Maintain configuration documentation and user-facing guidelines and manuals; 

• Assess business impact of changes and releases and coordinate functional regression testing with key users. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a comparable field; 

• General understanding of IT systems and enterprise applications;  

• Good understanding of manufacturing or production processes (e.g., shop floor operations, production planning, quality management); 

• Structured and analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into system configurations; 

• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented attitude toward end users; 

• Ability to create clear documentation and training materials; 

• Willingness to learn and work with a specialized application; 

• Experience with MES, PLM, or ERP systems is a strong advantage but not mandatory; 

• English language advance level, German language can be a plus.
