Main Objective of the Position:

Ensure and continuously improve the quality of HARTING products, and carry out quality planning for series production.

Responsibilities:

• Performs quality planning based on PPA;
• Conducts process evaluation and approval and actively participates in risk analyses (PFMEA);
• Implements customer product/process requirements and ensures compliance;
• Prepares control plans, inspection instructions, and control charts/test cards for series products, taking into account DFMEA/PFMEA;
• Improves quality control based on available data;
• Prepares quality documentation and ensures production start-up in case of relocations and process/product duplications;
• Initiates necessary corrective and improvement measures and monitors their effectiveness; maintains defect catalog;
• Responsible for proper handling of customer complaints in SAP using 8D methodology;
• Implements quality methods and tools;
• Provides support in case of product recalls/withdrawals from customers;
• Trains employees on all relevant quality aspects related to the product;
• Performs process audits (LPA);
• Provides support during external audits;
• Coordinate 8D meetings with all neccesary departments;

Requirements:

• University degree in mechanical/ electrical engineering or comparable field;
• Minimum 1–2 years similar experience;
• MS Office, SAP, CAQ;
• Good level of English;
• Basic knowledge of statistical methods;
• Basic project management knowledge;
• Strong ability to learn and assimilate new information;
• Reliability, responsibility, adaptability;
• Technical knowledge (technical drawings).
