Purpose of the Position

Perform worldwide service tasks online and on-site, including creating and optimizing required PLC and robot programs, as well as handling mechanical and electrical tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze machine and system errors and malfunctions via remote maintenance or on-site.
• Optimize PLC and robot programs for operating special-purpose machines.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, maintenance, and modifications.
• Coordinate with other departments to evaluate technical implementations.
• Conduct technical discussions with customers.
• Relocation and commissioning of special-purpose machines.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Version control of developed software using version control systems.
• Implement PLC projects using the programming language Structured Text.
• Basic knowledge of industrial robots and Vision Systems.

Education and Professional Experience

• Completed vocational training in maintenance, Mechatronics technician or Industrial electrician.
• High willingness to travel (up to 9 months/ year in Europe and USA).
• Self-development capability, teamwork skills, initiative.
• Good communication skills when interacting with customers, supplier and colleagues.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
• Good English communication skills, spoken and written.
• 1–3 years of experience as a service technician, maintenance technician, or automation technician.
