Field Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Actively promote company products and solutions within the responsible region
  • Proactively seek market opportunities, develop new customers, and expand business in the assigned area
  • Manage and maintain the sales funnel according to the ideal sales process
  • Conduct project management (internal and external), and coordinate with key local and international customers
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and provide timely feedback on market information
  • Establish regional forecasts based on customer classification
  • Ensure comprehensive maintenance of customer relationship management (CRM) in the responsible area
  • Develop business with local distribution/agency networks and coordinate technical support for distributors/agents
  • Execute and maintain all contracts and procurement agreements in the region

 

Requirements:

  • College degree or above in mechanical design and manufacturing automation, mechatronics engineering, or related fields
  • Good English speaking and writing skills (CET-4 is acceptable if the candidate is otherwise qualified and experienced; must be able to independently read English technical documents and write English emails)
  • More than 3 years of sales experience in industrial automation and electrical products
  • Familiar with customer development in the lithium battery industry; experience with large lithium battery EU and OEM customers is preferred
  • Able to independently formulate customer sales strategies according to the company’s sales strategy and achieve the company’s sales targets
  • Experience and capability in value-based sales such as project-based and solution-based sales
  • Proficient in office software and familiar with CRM customer management system operations
  • Sales experience in foreign-funded enterprises is preferred
