About the Role:

 

  • Ownership of a defined IT service/product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Creation of a functional vision for the corresponding IT services/products.
  • Close collaboration with business stakeholders to understand processes, requirements, and priorities.
  • Translation of business needs into structured requirements (e.g., user stories, epics). 
  • Management and prioritization of the product backlog based on business value and strategic alignment.
  • Alignment of product development with overall IT strategy and architectural guidelines. 
  • Collaboration with technology teams to ensure clarification and a successful implementation of requirements.
  • Continuous evaluation and optimization of digital products and services within the business domain. 
  • Driving product roadmap definition in alignment with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Ensuring transparency on product progress, risks, and dependencies.

 

Qualifications & Experience: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional training.
  • 5–7 years of professional experience, preferably in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or IT-related roles.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Note: Extensive relevant experience and proven expertise can replace the required degree.

 

Professional Competencies: 

 

  • Strong understanding of business processes and their translation into IT requirements.
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Product management and prioritization (e.g., backlog management, value-driven delivery).
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Basic understanding of IT architecture and system landscapes.
