We are looking for a senior Lean Manager and true change leader, someone who can act as a member of the management team and as a trusted sparring partner for management director in developing the continuous improvement mindset and Lean culture throughout the plant, someone capable of translating strategy into measurable improvement actions and delivering sustainable business results.

 

Tasks

 

Lean Leadership & Culture

Champion Lean Management and HARlis.

Create engagement, ownership and accountability.

Build a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving.

Develop Lean leadership capability across all levels.

 

Strategy Deployment & Business Alignment

Translate business strategy into measurable improvement actions.

Align initiatives with SQDCP objectives.

Support achievement of site KPIs and MbO targets.

 

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

Deploy and sustain the Lean Management System.

Implement Shop Floor Management, 5S, Visual Management, Problem Solving and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Identify, prioritize and execute high-impact improvements.

 

Gemba Leadership & Capability Development

Lead Gemba Walks and structured problem solving.

Coach managers and teams.

Develop Lean champions and moderators.

Support organizational learning and capability development.

 

Process Improvement & Transformation

Lead Value Stream Mapping and Future State Design activities.

Benchmark internal and external best practices.

Facilitate Kaizen workshops and transformation initiatives.

Coordinate local and international improvement programs.

 

Governance & Performance Management

Monitor Operational Excellence KPIs.

Track savings and improvement benefits.

Provide management reporting and recommendations.

Support budgeting and prioritization of improvement activities.

 

 

Candidate Profile

 

Education:

 

  • University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related technical field;
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations or Business Administration is considered an advantage;
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred;
  • German Language is an advantage.

 

Professional Experience:

 

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing environments;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Lean Management, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering or Production Management;
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives and organizational change;
  • Experience implementing Lean Management Systems in production environments;
  • Experience working directly with plant leadership teams;
  • International manufacturing environment experience is considered an advantage.
