IT Project Manager

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Supports the planning and execution of projects from initiation to closure.
- Defines project scope, deliverables, and key milestones in alignment with stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains project plans, timelines, and task tracking.
- Coordinates project activities, resources, and dependencies.
- Identifies and manages project risks, issues, and changes.
- Ensures compliance with project management standards and governance requirements.
- Tracks project progress, status, and budget utilization.
- Prepares and delivers regular project status reports according to defined templates.
- Supports stakeholder communication and documentation.
- Ensures timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Broad IT knowledge.
- First experience in managing projects or sub-projects.
- Solid understanding of project management methods (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, Agile basics).
- Good organizational and coordination skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
- First certification (e.g. IPMA C, PRINCE2 Foundation, PMI CAPM).
Professional Competencies:
- Executes project plans within defined scope and guidance.
- Makes decisions on operational project topics and day-to-day activities.
- Escalates risks, issues, and major changes to Senior Project Manager or Project Sponsor.
- Ensures accurate documentation and reporting of project status.
- Supports prioritization of tasks within the project.
