Job Description

The Professional Master Data Manager will assist in defining and implementing global master data rules while acting as a "gatekeeper" to ensure compliance with our data governance standards. This entry-level position involves the creation and maintenance of master data, as well as supporting data operations under the supervision of senior data management professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define Global Master Data Rules: Support in the creation, documentation and optimisation of globally valid master data rules.
• Gatekeeper for Master Data: Monitoring the rules and checking the plausibility of the creation of new master data with the aim of ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
• Compliance with Master Data Governance: Assist in monitoring compliance with master data governance rules using appropriate analytics tools and KPI-based optimisation of master data.
• Master Data Creation: Creation of new master data in new product projects (NP projects), business operations accounts (BOAs), change requests (CR), relocations and duplication projects.
• Knowledge Assurance & Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on master data processes, rules and governance including ensuring knowledge of team members and interfaces.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field
• experience in data management, master data governance, SCM, IE or related fields is a plus
• Basic understanding of master data management principles and data governance best practices.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and quality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
