Functional objectives                        
n  To assist the local Head of Purchasing in executing the processes of supplier qualification and quality management in support of the overall business plan and the targets of PUR department in compliance with the standards of all relevant quality systems and all applicable international, state and local laws.                        
n  To carry out the supplier quality management activities to ensure that direct materials are provided by the approved suppliers stably and their quality is monitored effectively.                        
                    
                        
Is responsible for:                        
n   Implement the supplier approval, evaluation and development activities in cooperation with the Sourcing team to comply with the Quality Management System.                        
n   Implement effectively the supplier audit plan and supplier development plan in compliance with the QMS standards and the supplier strategy.                        
n   Review materials and supplier quality at sites and ensure suppliers are meeting quality standards, perform claims handling and work w/ lagging suppliers to improve quality                        
n   Process the noncomformity materials and follow up the quality complaints against both internal and external suppliers effectively.                        
n   Pursue to minimize the supplier's cost of conformance and nonconformance by motivating and tuturing supplier's continous improvement in their processes and delivery quality.                        
n   Negotiate the best possbile quality-related terms of contracts /agreements with external suppliers in cooperation with Sourcing.                        
n  Support Head of Purchasing in achieving the continuous improvement and digitalization of supplier management procesess and activities.                        
n  Maintain SAP Q-module properly to ensure its effective operation.                        
n  Improve the capabilities and specialty of supplier quality management to bring the maximum benefits to the organization and achieve the self-value when in pursuit of perfection.                        
n  Participate in the global SQE team and manage the implementation of global supplier quality management processes and the realization of global KPIs.                        
n  Support Head of Purchasing in providing the supplier approval and development services the Asia Pacific areas for HARTING plants globally.                          
n  Other tasks assigned by the superior management.                        
          
                      
Education and professional knowledge:                          
n  University degree in quality or engineering.                        
n  Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management in the relevant industry and preferably 2 year in supplier quality management.                        
n   Adequate knowledge of and practical experience in the standards of ISO 9001 and/or ISO14001.                        
n Profound (technical) knowledge of materials/ goods, incl. supplier landscapes, function-specific needs, key market development and supplier price/ cost-structure                        
n   Experienced in conducting approval audits and process audits.                        
n  Adequate knowledge of quality tools such as measurement technology, SPC, MSA and FMEA.                          
n  Familar with the production processes for raw materials for connector, cable harness or other electronics products.                        
n  Good Digital skills and knowledge of MS Office, preferably with experience in the quality module of ERP.                        
n  Good English written skill and capable of oral communciation in English.
