Functional objectives

  • Manages projects with low to moderate complexity according to the GPMO-Operations Standard in the respective region or global.
  • Establish, implement, and optimize operational processes according to HARlis standards (HARTING Learning & Improvement System) in order to drive continuous improvement, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve the organization’s performance indicators.

Is responsible for

A. Project Management (70%)

  • Plan, implement, monitor, and control the progress of manufacturing projects (e.g., relocation, localization)
  • Manage budgets, resources, and risks to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and resolve issues arising during project execution.
  • Develop and update project documentation, lessons learned, and propose improvements to project management processes.

B. Lean & Process Improvement (30%)

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Propose and implement Lean initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and help train colleagues on Lean tools and methods.
  • Measure and report the impact of improvement activities.

Education and professional knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management or process improvement roles.
  • Knowledge of project management principles; certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management tools
  • Good English communication skills.
