Industrial Engineer

Functional objectives

  • Development of plastic injection & aluminum die-casting die/mold/tool for new and relocation projects
  • Maintaining & improving existing die/mold/tool
  • Optimizing existing process and parameter setting to maintain a stable and economic production
  • Development of new production process in new projects

Is responsible for                                            

  • Improvement and Replacement planning for existing mold/tooling in serial products
  • Solve daily issues related to injection/casting process to maintain serial production
  • Equipment/Fixture/Tooling development

Planning for necessary assembly fixtures/toolings for new projects

Work with tooling supplier and approve the specified equipment functionality and quality

Developing new suppliers for mold making & repairing with Purchasing team

  • Process Development

Co-operate with R&D engineers to develop production process for new projects

Prepare PFMEA for new projects if required

  • Calcuation for investment

Production cost calculation for new projects and provide cost estimation to project leader.

  • Process validation

Making and verifing ISIR for new and relocation projects with R&D and Quality team

Prepare necessary documents for PPAP

Education and professional knowledge

  • University degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant industry, prefer in plastic injection/aluminum die-casting company
  • Experienced in developing, improving injection/casting mold/tool
  • Experienced in design software eg. : CAD/UG NX/ PROE, …
  • Familar with the production processes for plastic injection/Aluminum die-casting products
  • Experienced in at PFMEA, Poka Yoke, One-piece Flow, cycle time measurement, ECR
  • Good Digital skills and knowledge of MS Office, preferably with experience in SAP.
  • Good English written skill and capable of communciation in English.
