Executive Communications Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Executive Communications & Content Production
- Drafts speeches, briefings, and LinkedIn posts for executive leaders
- Prepares Q&A documents and speaking notes for leadership appearances
- Produces research and background papers to support executive messaging
- Supports crisis communications preparations as required
Editorial & Message Management
- Maintains the editorial calendar for leadership communications
- Curates the message bank and tone-of-voice library to ensure consistency across all executive communications
- Ensures all content is aligned with HARTING's positioning as a global leading family-owned technology group
Events & Leadership Formats
- Supports the planning and production of town halls, CEO video messages, and other leadership communication formats
- Assists in the preparation of live Q&A sessions and similar leadership formats
Stakeholder Support
- Acts as a reliable operational partner for the Team Lead and the Executive Board's communications needs
- Collaborates closely with the CEO Office and Family Office to deliver timely and accurate content

Qualifications & Competency Profile:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Media Studies, or a comparable relevant field. 2–4 years of professional experience in communications, content creation, or a comparable field.
- Language Proficiency (DE/EN): Proficient in both German and English, with strong writing skills and a keen sense for tone, nuance, and adapting language to individual executive voices.
- Content Ideation (DE/EN): Develops relevant content ideas and narrative angles to support executive communications, contributing creative input within a defined strategic framework.
- Content Creation (DE/EN): Produces clear, well-structured, and publication-ready content in both German and English across a range of executive formats, including speeches, briefings, and social media posts.
- Project Management: Manages own workload effectively across multiple concurrent tasks, consistently delivering on time and to a high standard in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Strategy: Understands and applies the executive communication strategy in day-to-day content production, ensuring all outputs are coherent and on-brand.
- Controlling / Analytics Skills: Supports the tracking and evaluation of executive communication activities, contributing to reporting and quality assurance processes.
