As a Professional Laboratory Engineer / Test Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of HARTING products through rigorous and timely testing procedures. You will develop detailed test plans based on defined requirements and execute these tests with precision. Your role includes interpreting test results, preparing comprehensive reports in accordance with laboratory standards, and clearly communicating findings to relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will represent and explain test outcomes in both internal and external discussions, contributing to the continuous improvement of product quality and performance.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Tests on the function and reliability of HARTING products.
- Execution of valid tests according to the service level.
- Creation of test schedules for defined requirements.
- Conducting the tests with interpretation and communication of the results.
- Preparation of reports according to the requirements of the laboratory.
- Representing and explaining the test results.
Professional Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Initial professional experience in a testing laboratory, quality assurance, product validation, or a comparable technical environment.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or environmental testing methods and procedures.
- Understanding of relevant testing standards, specifications, and laboratory processes.
- Ability to develop structured test plans and execute tests accurately and efficiently
- Experience in preparing technical reports and documenting test results in a clear and professional manner.
- Good English language skills, both written and spoken; additional German language skills are an advantage.
- Team-oriented mindset combined with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
