In this responsible leadership role, you will guide a dedicated development team and shape the future of our high-performance circular connectors as well as connectors with overmolded technology. Technological challenges and innovative processes are what drive you every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and continuously develop the employees within your area of responsibility
  • Define the strategic direction and continuously advance the product development group
  • Manage and coordinate all development activities across the entire product life cycle
  • Ensure the achievement of objectives while considering key performance indicators, cost targets, and development budgets
  • Collaborate closely with international development sites as well as internal interfaces such as Industrial Engineering, Project Management, and Quality to ensure optimal results

 

Your Profile

  • Completed technical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable discipline) and several years of professional experience in the development of electromechanical components
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating teams
  • Strong expertise in design for manufacturing, including plastic, turned, stamped and bent, aluminium and zinc die-cast components, as well as in the production of overmolded components
  • Confident user of CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX), Teamcenter, and MS Office, along with solid know-how in creating and maintaining complex product and design platforms
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills combined with a strong cost awareness
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills and willingness to travel on business for several days at a time
