Your tasks in detail:
- Encourage new ideas and concepts beyond current products and business & set up and cultivate methods and tools for an efficient and effective working mode
- Actively seek out opportunities to support the activities of your team through projects, partnerships, external funding, and other mechanisms
- Enabling the team to successfully develop new ideas up to an advanced prototype level in collaboration with customers and partners
- Leading and continously developing a team of innovation-focused engineers to co-create with external partners
- Set goals and expectations for the Innovation Hub and external partners
- Manage the daily work of the Innovation Hub and its projects
Your skills:
- Master's degree or Ph.D in a technical direction
- Experience in leading a team in an innovation environment
- High affinity, experience and interest in railroad industry
- Ability to forge strategic partnerships with a wide variety of technical and investor stakeholders; Fundraising and pitching skills in an entrepreneurial environment
- Technical business development skills to sell new projects, products, or services
- Excellent business and organizational skills including budgeting, program management, etc.
- Very good language skills in German and English
- Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills
