We are seeking a Systems Application Specialist (Trainer and Process Specialist) in Elgin, IL.  The Systems Application Specialist will support HARTING operational systems (SAP, CRM, Contact Center) and procedures required to be performed by the Customer Success Teams within the Americas. The primary responsibilities of training will encompass training documentation, onboarding, and continuous improvement for new and existing employees. The primary responsibilities as a process specialist are to evaluate, design, execute, measure, monitor and control business processes, working collaboratively across all departments to drive customer and employee success.

As a Trainer........

  • Collaborate with Customer Success Management to identify departmental training needs and implement effective training strategies. 
  • Schedule and conduct training sessions for new and existing employees as required and maintain employee training records.
  • Create knowledge assessment and verification tools for self and management use.
  • Prepare both digital and hard copy training materials such as process summaries, videos, and presentations. 
  • Conduct online, and onsite workshops, as well as individual training sessions as needed to ensure continuous team improvement. 
                                                                                                     

As a Process Specialist you will..........

  • Ensure that processes used by the Customer Success team support company policies, procedures, and customer interests.
  • Represent and promote HARTING's high standards of effectiveness, efficiency, and customer advocacy while enhancing profitability. 
  • Continuously evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the order fulfillment process, including inputs, outputs, responsibilities, processes, systems, and software tools (SAP, EDI, eShop, Contact Center, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • Identify risks and issues in business processes and systems; analyze operating data and statistics to identify opportunities for improvement, develop action plans, and implement process enhancements. 
  • Develop and implement new processes, systems, tools, and technologies, using the value stream approach, that affect customer experience and profitability, in cooperation with other departments, subsidiaries, and business units. 
  • Provide and analyze data, monitor target achievement, continuously inform Customer Success Managers, and escalate issues as needed. 
  • Document processes, develop training materials, templates, and forms, conduct training sessions, and develop key users. 
  • Oversee process introduction, acceptance, and compliance within the organization.
  • Measure and monitor the benefits after process implementation to ensure quality, efficiency, and improvement; control the effectiveness of implementation and take corrective actions as needed. 
  • Support the Customer Success team during customer and other relevant internal/external audits; collect objective evidence of conformity for audits, resolve problems, and prevent recurrence. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing, implementing, and scaling business processes, supported by strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience in leveraging AI-driven automation and intelligent workflows for order processing preferred. 
  • Structured, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously 
  • Demonstrated proficiency, prioritizing workstreams and maintaining meticulous detail across a portfolio of multiple projects.
  • Periodic international travel may be required quarterly - less than 10%


Must have skills and experience:

  • Associate’s degree, Business Certificate or equivalent professional experience is preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience as a trainer and process specialist
  • Previous experience working with systems implementations and ERP systems
  • Previous experience maintaining, enhancing and troubleshooting existing dashboards to ensure high performance and relevance
  • Previous experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and teams
  • Software proficiency: Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), SAP, EDI, eShop
  • Omnichannel Contact Center experience and CRM systems experience preferred

HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits, including:

Compensation:

  • HARTING's Total Compensation Structure includes a Base Salary and Bonus Percentage. 
  • Competitive base salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • This role is eligible for a 5% discretionary annual bonus.
