We are seeking a Systems Analyst to protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, support end users, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy.

 

To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to: 

  • Support of IT environment users, hardware, networking, and software in concordance with HARTING
  • Upgrades, monitors, and tunes software as needed
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
  • Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support
  • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery
  • Maintains PC based software, assists in evaluation of new software, and upgrades current software and hardware as directed
  • Deploys new computers and reimages computers via MECM (SCCM)
  • Deploys, Manages, Upgrades Virtual Servers in a VMware environment
  • Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
  • Manage users in an Active Directory environment
  • Performs other MIS staff’s functions as a backup during an emergency.

 

Skills and experience to thrive in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or three-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the WINDOWS Server and Workstation OS environment.
  • Experience in VMware environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS OFFICE / M365 product family.
  • Experience utilizing MECM (formerly SCCM) for client deployment a plus.
  • Previous Help Desk or Service Desk experience a plus

HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits, including:

Compensation

  • HARTING's Total Compensation Structure includes a Base Salary and Bonus Percentage.
  • Competitive base salary: $70,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location).
  • This role is eligible for a 5% discretionary annual bonus.
