We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Talent Management - Americas in our Elgin, IL regional headquarters office! This person will drive regional people and development initiatives that support the Americas business and strategy in alignment with the global HR strategy. This role will serve as the talent management expert for the region and is responsible for implementing, designing, or adapting regional and local people development initiatives based on CoE guidelines or regional requirements. This role will be a member of the Americas HR Leadership Team and serve as a point of contact for executives, managers, employees, and HR Business Partners in the Americas.
HARTING aims to be a trusted advisor to HARTING customers and positions itself as the go-to source expert for industrial connectivity solutions. We partner directly with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Distribution partners for standard product, designed-in value-added products, and Product Development initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to:
- In partnership with the global People & Culture CoE, lead all regional talent management initiatives and processes (i.e., performance management, development programs, talent assessment, engagement survey, succession planning)
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify development needs for employees, managers, leaders and executives to create targeted learning and development actions
- Lead HR initiatives related to organizational transformation (e.g., M&A), culture and change management
- Facilitate team effectiveness, collaboration, and employee engagement strategies that foster a positive and inclusive high-performance environment
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies, incorporating this knowledge into learning and development programs
- Consult with external training vendors to align development initiatives with organizational goals that support the growth, performance, and transformation of the business
- Develop, implement and maintain a feedback culture, supported by a technology-driven system solution
- Provide coaching and mentorship to 1 US-based direct report and 1 Mexico-based team member focused on learning and development
Skills and experience to thrive in this role:
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in human resources or related field
- 5+ years of experience in talent management and preferably other areas of HR
- Strong understanding of talent management best practices and trends
- Proven track record in talent management, leadership development, and change management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience supporting commercial and operations teams is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, and international environment
- People Management Experience
- Some International Travel Required

HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits, including:
Compensation:
- HARTING's Total Compensation Structure includes a Base Salary and Bonus Percentage.
- Competitive base salary: $130,000 - $150,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location).
- This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
