We are seeking a detail -oriented Quality Engineer to support high-volume manufacturing. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality products to our customers.

 

To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to: 

· Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems in compliance with requirements.

· Prepare and maintain documentation for quality processes and ensure compliance with control plans, work instructions, inspection procedures, P-FMEA and other quality standards.

· Perform process audits, layered process audits (LPA), and product inspections.

· Lead and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions for new and existing products.

· Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to ensure accurate

·Interpretation of engineering drawings.

· Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) analysis to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.

· Manage and maintain gage calibration programs to ensure measurement accuracy.

· Conduct internal audits and support external audits for ISO9001 compliance.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

· Analyze customer complaints and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis tools.

· Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

 

Skills and experience to thrive in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial  with five-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the WINDOWS XX OS environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS OFFICE product family.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, PPAP, GD&T, SPC, and gage calibration systems.
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, and 8D problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits, including:

Compensation

  • HARTING's Total Compensation Structure includes a Base Salary and Bonus Percentage.
  • Competitive base salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location).
  • This role is eligible for a 5% discretionary annual bonus.
