The Production Training Specialist facilitates a smooth onboarding of new hires in the manufacturing environment, execute a comprehensive training plan, and accelerate the novice-to-effective employee transition while ensuring all safety, quality, productivity, improvement, and collaboration criteria and practices are met.

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to:

  • Identify organizational and functional training needs within manufacturing.
  • Create and implement technical training programs.
  • Develop and update learning materials (instructions, manuals, e-learning, guides).
  • Coordinate and collaborate with HR to track development plans.
  • Participate in change management and continuous improvement projects.
  • Track and report on key learning and development metrics.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of training programs.
  • Coordinate the apprenticeship program, collaborating with HR and local organizations.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support leadership, performance, culture, and engagement programs in partnership with HR.
  • Ensure training programs are aligned and in compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety management system requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA and others).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing training and competency-related evidence.

 

 

Skills and experience to thrive in this role:

 

  • Technical certification or degree in manufacturing or similar industry
  • 2 years minimum of experience in relevant position
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office

HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits, including:

 

  • Competitive hourly rate salary: $20-25 (commensurate with experience)
  • Monday to Friday (2nd shift) 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm or (3rd shift) 10:00 pm to 6am
