Job Description
As a Advanced Sourcing Engineer, assists with various Strategic Procurement activities, including supplier
identification, management, expediting, data management and administrative tasks.

Job Responsibilities:
 Develop vendors for Aluminium, Zinc Die castings, Injection molding (Plastic & Rubber), Sheet
metal fabrication, Machining & C-Class parts based on technical, quality, and commercial criteria.
 Collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand technical requirements and ensure
supplier capabilities align with project needs.
 Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management processes.
 Generate RFQ/RFP for mechanical components related to NPD projects.
 Submit quotation to Project purchase team within stipulated time frame.
 Co-ordinate vendor & Product development team for technical clarification.
 Act as an interface for new product development projects. Drive cost reduction initiatives through
value engineering, and supplier development.
 Manage supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and compliance to company standards.
 Support new product introduction (NPI) & LCM products by coordinating supplier readiness and
ramp-up activities.
 Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, delivery delays, and capacity
constraints for all NPD projects.
 Evaluate supplier (technical/commercial) and support in supplier audit/assessments.
 Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO, IATF, etc.).
 Stay updated on market trends, new technologies, and best practices in sourcing and supply chain
management.

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

Basic Skills:
 Strong technical understanding of mechanical/electrical components and manufacturing
processes.
 Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
 Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
 Ability to travel as required for supplier visits and audits.
Functional specific Skills
 Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier development, preferably in a
manufacturing or engineering environment
 Proficiency in MS Office and SAP S/4 HANA.
