QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education

 

Required:

 

Batchelor in Mechanical Engineering [B.Tech/ B.E], or Master in Engineering [M.Tech/ M.E]from a reputed institute

Good command of English (written and spoken)

 

 

 

Work Experience

Required:

7 – 10 years in thermal simulation / Fluid / Conjugate Heat transfer Multiphysics simulation roles.

 

Preferred:

Dealing with electromechanical products preferably connectors and assemblies.

Experience in working with European/German MNC is preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

General

  • Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for heat transfer, airflow, and fluid behavior analysis.
  • Develop and validate thermal models using CFD and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS Icepak, Siemens STAR-CCM+, FloTHERM, or equivalent).
  • Collaborate with mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate thermal constraints into design decisions.
  • Define thermal requirements and boundary conditions for new products.
  • Conduct design trade-off studies and design of experiments (DoE) to optimize thermal performance.
  • Coordinate and work with other analysts across other departments to analysis methodologies and design constraints.
  • Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change.
  • Able to work in a team environment with ability to work on your own, Self-motivated attitude.
  • Meet the organization goals and targets and achieve by executing the plans meticulously.

Major simulation areas of interest:

  • Experience in electronics cooling, industrial equipment, or power electronics.
  • Knowledge of thermal interface materials (TIMs), heat sinks, heat pipes, and liquid cooling systems
  • Knowledge on Multi physic problem (Electric – Thermal) - Preferred.
  • Any knowledge on Open Source tools like OpenFOAM, Calculix, Elmer, SU2 is an added advantage
  • Candidate should be proficient in hand calculations and good with engineering fundamentals.

General Skills:

  • Very good communication & presentation skills in English and preferred if German language is known.
  • Very high level of self-initiated and self-organized person to develop and motivate the team members and drive the results out of them and define career path for the team for long term growth.
  • Planning of work and execution on time & ability to handle unplanned activities in crucial times.
  • Thinking and acting globally and willingness for short term travel to Global locations.
