Primary Skills:
5–8+ years in IT infrastructure operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong expertise in Windows Server, Hypervisors, Networking, and Aruba devices.
Experience with IT hardware, industrial printers, and shop-floor technologies.
Working knowledge of Azure Cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience with ITIL processes and enterprise ticketing tools.
Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
Roles and Responsilibity:
1. Windows & Server Infrastructure
Manage and support Windows operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and
virtualization platforms.
Handle Hypervisor environments include VM creation, backup, and maintenance.
Plan and execute server patching, updates, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
2. IT Hardware & Manufacturing Support
Provide advanced troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, SMD devices, standard printers, and
manufacturing/industrial printers.
Ensure high uptime of production-critical IT equipment on the shop floor.
Work closely with production teams to maintain IT readiness for manufacturing processes.
3. Network Administration
Configure and manage Aruba switches, wireless access points, VLANs, and routing.
Support LAN/WAN operations, network performance optimization, and security enforcement.
Monitor network health and proactively resolve issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
4. Cloud (Azure) Support
Provide basic administration and support for Azure cloud services.
Assist with hybrid environment management and cloud-based applications.
5. Vendor & Asset Lifecycle Management
Coordinate with vendors for procurement, AMC, licensing, and hardware/software support.
Maintain full lifecycle management of IT assets: allocation, tracking, auditing, and disposal.
Ensure compliance with HARTING IT procurement guidelines.
6. Ticketing, Incident & Problem Management
Lead incident escalation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Ensure SLA compliance within the ticketing platform.
Drive improvements in ITIL processes including change and problem management.
7. Documentation & IT Data Management
Prepare documentation including SOPs, checklists, system diagrams, asset records, and
incident reports.
Analyze, maintain, and update IT data generated from internal tools and applications.
Ensure strong governance around documentation quality and version control.
8. Communication & Team Collaboration
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, management, and vendors.
Support and mentor junior IT staff.
Demonstrate strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
