Become a part of the international HARTING Technology Group as a 
Senior Design Engineer

A.   CORE OBJECTIVES

 

R&D :

  • Prepare Project specification sheet.
  • Design and develop product to meet project requirement.
  • Develop DFMEA document.
  • Design Verification (Calculation, simulations, proto samples testing)
  • PVP specification finalization.
  • Project milestone checklist closure.
  • Drive design activity to meet project plan.
  • Release of PPAP documents related to design team.

 

 

B.   Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Review & finalize the product specification with reference to project input sheet from customer / marketing team.
  • Develop concept design (with all calculations and analysis document) and make preliminary BOM.
  • Draft DFMEA with reference project specification input, warranty failure report, other failure captured during product development.
  • Estimate design hour to meet the project specification, on basis of preliminary BOM / other supporting documents.
  • Plan / conduct design verification with proto samples.
  • Conduct Design review with CFT and take approval for project go-head.
  • Design finalization, reviewing 2D & 3D, stack analysis, material selection, etc
  • Conduct Design review with global team.
  • Finalize PVP specification with reference to project specification.
  • BOM finalization (Part number creation & Material creation)
  • Review & release drawings / design document for tooling.
  • Review and provide feedback on FOT sample, with reference to physical samples/Inspection report/fitment check/etc.
  • Conduct product assembly trial, with FOT.
  • Review and support on product validation.
  • Release design document for PPAP.
  • Complete the project milestone document, with respected to project phase.
  • Responsible for Engineering change activity on NPD/Existing products.
