Job Title: Regional Industry Segment Manager – (Wind & Energy)
Reporting: In accordance with HARTING corporate guidelines
Functional Objectives:
Positioning of the Organization as a partner and solution provider at existing and potential customers in the
responsible regional market segment
Increasing the regional market share of components and solutions of the Organization in applications of the
Target market segment assigned.
Optimization of cross-divisional global cooperation to develop and offer innovative products, solutions, and
services for customers in the responsible market segment
Roles and Responsibilities:
Development of a regional strategy and medium-term planning for the responsible Assigned Target market segment
Experience in OEM’s and End users in Wind, Energy segment etc.
To Analyze and develop long term Prospective customers for business.
Developing Identifying suitable M&A target/JV partners/Technology License policy advocacy strategies to promote M&R business in India
Designating relevant key customers for a direct sales approach, and supporting to ensure the CRM database is being maintained accurately for the overarching target customer groups (TCG)
Development and implementation of market segment and application-specific communication measures as well as representation at relevant trade fairs
Regular exchange with local sales and product management about necessary sales support measures and to take over market segment-specific activities
Representing the Organization in relevant local committees and organizations
Active support in carrying out regular business reviews to ensure the successful implementation of strategic and operational measures by the sales company
Regular exchange of information with the global Industry Segment Management regarding the progress of regional measures as well as supporting the implementation of centrally initiated activities specific to the responsible market segment
Education and professional knowledge:
Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
At least 8-10 years of professional experience in a similar position and in the responsible market segment
Strategy development and business reporting
Firsthand experiences in Customer facing, Presentation skills
Experience in stakeholder management and intercultural cooperation
Strong Communication Skills.
