Primary Skills:

     ◼Hands on exp in NPD activities, CAD Software(NX), Value Engineering, Costing, Cost saving, BOM,PLM-Teamcenter,            Change Management.

Secondary Skills:

    ◼Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

    ◼10 to15 years of experience in Value Engineering, Component engineering of electromechanical products.

Job and Responsibilities:

   ◼Expertise on VAVE concept and have good experience in handling VE projects.
   ◼Must have completed minimum 3 major VE savings projects.
   ◼Hands on working knowledge of Siemens NX 3D CAD software & Team Centre.
   ◼Hands on experience in New Product Design & Development (NPI/NPD) of electro-mechanical products.
   ◼Good knowledge in diecasting, plastics & sheet metal component design & development.
   ◼Good Knowledge on the Seal designs, IP ratings and rubber seal materials.
   ◼Good knowledge on material selection for the parts based on application.
   ◼Must have experience in working with Global teams and communicating with them technically.
   ◼Good knowledge on GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, dimensions, and structural analysis.
   ◼Knowledge on the Engineering Change Notification process for design changes.
   ◼Ensure design of components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards.
   ◼Establish and support knowledge-sharing networks throughout the HARTING Technology Group to promote collaboration and innovation.
   ◼Organize, conduct VAVE to ensure design / cost effectiveness and verification of ECP, in close cooperation with R&D Engineer, Project Manager, Production and Sourcing members, check for optimal feasibility and if necessary, make additions or corrections.
