Job Description

            The in process Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products meet internal and external quality standards throughout the production cycle. This role involves montionring, auditing and improving quality control processes during manufacturing to minimize defects and ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer expectation.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process Monitoring & Control
  • Oversee quality checks during each stage of production process
  • Ensure that production processes comply with internal standards and regulatory standards
  • Identify deviations and initiate corrective actions immediately
  • Conduct G8D for any gap identified in the process
  • Quality Assurance planning
  • Develop and implement inprocess quality assurance plans
  • Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessment to prevent defects
  • Determine quality requirement during each production phase
  • Be a stake holder in arrive PFMEA for any new developments
  • Develop and monitor control plan for process defined
  • Perform inprocess audit and Poke yoke negative simulation audits
  • Inspection & Testing
  • Supervise inspections and testing of materials , components and assemeblies
  • Conduct MRB meeting to take disposition decision on timely manner
  • Ensure traceability and documentation of inspection results
  • Develop test jigs/fixtures to accommodate more projects/ reduce cycletime /change over time.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain uptodate quality manuals , procedures and work instruction
  • Release controlled drawings and documents to shop floor
  • Ensure adherence to IMS and support on internal audits
  • Support external/Customer audits, TPI, UL and regulatory inspection
  • Cross functional collaboration
  • Act as liaison between production, Engineering,Industrial Engg. And quality assurance team.
  • Provide Technical support to resolve quality related issues
  • Communicate quality trends and improvement opportunities to leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze quality data to identify patterns and root cause
  • Lead initiatives to improve process efficiency and reduce defects
  • Train staff on quality standards and best practices

 

Qualifications:

  • B.E Mechanical / Electrical
  • ISO standards 9001,14001,45001, IATF, OHSA.
  • To be a certified Lead auditor with Six sigma certification.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies ( RCA, PFMEA, Control Plan, CAPA and G8D)
  • Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
