POSITION SUMMARY
HARTING Company Introduction– High-performance connection technology forms the basis of industrial application and product technology. The HARTING range of products and solutions comprises connectors, device connection technology and network components. HARTING products connect machines and facilities via data, signal and power. HARTING employs around 5,000 people across its 44 sales companies and 14 production locations.
The candidate for this position needs to have proven capabilities for Development of processing in new and relocation connectors, cable assembly and harness. Maintain and improve serial connectors. This position is based in Chennai, Tamilnadu. India.

Required: |
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution |

Required: |
At least 7-9 years in Process management, Lean manufacturing. |

Preferred: |
Dealing with electromechanical products preferably cable assemblies, Wiring Harness and connectors. |
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Overall Job Description: Support in implementing the Process Management Organization, drive Continuous Improvement, and the HARlis Systems. Responsibilities include leading process management related projects & workshops as well as sharing best practices.
- Support in optimizing (end-to-end) processes considering legal, operational, and other framework conditions to reach a HARTING wide culture of continuous improvement
- Designing, deploying, using and developing most common HARlis Systems and methods
- Implementing the HARTING Operations Strategy Process incl. (K)PI management and the HARlis Strategy Tools
- Measuring, monitoring, reporting and achieving targets of PcM (K)PIs
- Actively participating in best practice sharing.
- Representing HARlis / Continuous Improvement internally as well as externally (conventions, associations, study trips, etc.)
- Supporting in implementation of projects in the field of process management
- Supporting (strategic) meetings and workshops.
- Successfully leading and implementing significant Lean initiatives as per HARlis standard that resulted in measurable improvements in safety, Sustainability, quality, delivery, and cost (SSQDC).
- Leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Expert knowledge of Lean methodologies, principles, and tools (VSM, 5S, SMED, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, TPM, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, from shop floor associates to senior executives.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving measurable improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Coordinating with Regional and Global process team time to time on the HARlis standard implementation.
- Training to the moderators on the HARlis tools across all cross functional areas.
- Conducting Periodical audit on the 5S and Muda Walk.
