Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary IT interface for business-IT topics within the assigned domain.
- Translate business priorities, needs and improvement opportunities into structured IT demand.
- Own and maintain the domain IT roadmap in alignment with business priorities, IT strategy, architecture, budget and delivery capacity.
- Prepare prioritization proposals, decision options and roadmap updates for domain-related initiatives.
- Ensure transparency on business value, urgency, risks, dependencies, costs and resource constraints.
- Coordinate demand and dependencies with other domains, Core / SAP Technology, Shared Technology Services and Enterprise Architecture.
- Identify opportunities for business improvement through technology, standardization, automation and process optimization.
- Ensure initiatives follow HARTING’s IT governance, architecture, security, data governance and compliance standards.
- Provide domain-level steering for approved initiatives together with Project Managers, Solution Architects and delivery teams.
- Ensure technical teams receive clear, prioritized and business-validated demand, while technical execution and operations remain with the responsible technology functions.
- Escalate unresolved priority, budget, resource or dependency conflicts to the relevant governance bodies.
- If applicable, lead assigned team members and foster ownership, transparency, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable discipline.
- Long-standing professional experience in IT, digital transformation, business relationship management, product ownership, portfolio management or a relevant business domain.
- Strong understanding of business processes and IT-enabled business capabilities in the assigned domain.
- Experience in stakeholder management across business and IT leadership levels.
- Experience in demand management, roadmap planning, portfolio prioritization or IT governance.
- Good understanding of enterprise architecture principles, application landscapes and IT delivery models.
- Experience working in complex, international and matrix-oriented organizations.
- Fluent English skills.
